Phoenix, Arizona – A pick-up truck collided with a motorcycle near a Phoenix intersection Friday morning, September 28.

 

A motorcyclist was killed in the crash. According to Phoenix police, the crash happened on Hatcher near 9th Avenue.

 

The truck driver made a right turn right in front of the motorcyclist. The pickup truck got struck by the motorcyclist.

 

The motorcyclist rider was taken to the hospital. He was pronounced dead in the hospital. There is information about the motorcyclist not using the helmet at the time the crash happened.

 

After the collision, the truck driver didn’t run away. He remained at the scene of the crash.

 

Impairment is not considered to be the factor in the collision, according to Phoenix police Sgt. Mercedes Fortune.

 

The police report about the Hatcher Road to be restricted, including 7th and 10th avenues. The road is expected to be closed for the next several hours.

 

Police officers are still working to clear the scene of the crash. All the drivers are encouraged to check the conditions of the roads before commuting in Raleigh.
